Join the Lady Rams and Think Pink

FORT WORTH, TX:  The Texas Wesleyan University women's soccer team will hold its 2nd Annual Dr. Elizabeth Alexander Breast Cancer Awareness game on Saturday, when they host Texas College.

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness month, the Lady Rams will be sporting pink jerseys for the occasion.  The game has been named in honor of Dr. Elizabeth Alexander.  Dr. Alexander is a professor of History at Texas Wesleyan and is a breast cancer survivor who has been cancer free since 2001.  Dr. Alexander has been involved with the Susan G. Komen Foundation since 1997, three years before she was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer.

All are invited to join the Rams in support of Dr. Alexander and the fight against breast cancer.  Game time against the Steers is set for 5:30 p.m. at Martin Field.  The contest will be followed by a men’s game at 7:30 p.m.
