HOUSTON, TX:  The Texas Wesleyan University volleyball team (5-4) took a three set win at the University of St. Thomas-Houston on Saturday.  The Rams prevailed with scores of 25-21, 25-16, and 25-23.

Katherine Rosenbush led the Rams with 14 kills against just one error and 24 swings.  #Kristen Venhuizen# notched a double-double with 11 kills and 11 digs.  #Evoni Darling# paced the offense to the tune of 32 assists while notching nine digs.  #Marissa Rangel# posted 10 digs.

“We played really well and very consistent today,” commented head coach Christy Clawson.  “We were able to make some lineup changes and spread the playing time out, and the girls stayed consistent and got the job done.”

The Rams will return to action on Tuesday, when they host Red River Athletic Conference foe Southwestern Assemblies of God University.  That game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start in the Sid Richardson Center.
