FORT WORTH, TX: The Texas Wesleyan University women's soccer team (2-0) posted a 12-0 win over a shorthanded LeTourneau University (0-1) squad at Martin field on Friday.
The win marked Texas Wesleyan's largest margin of victory since a 13-0 win over Wiley College on October 11 last season. LeTourneau played the match with only eight players.
Jessica Watton and
Lauren Kee both notched hat tricks in the win.
Alexis Michaelkovich got the onslaught started in the 14th minute.
Zamora Bell netted the next two goals. After a score from
Kaitlin Bush, Kee scored in the 36th and 41st minutes to give the Rams a comfortable 6-0 cushion at the half.
Kee scored again in the 53rd minute. Watton found the net in the 73rd, 75th, and 85th minutes. The Lady Rams also got goals from
Shrareh Asadi and
Caitlin Hays-Nevens to account for the 12-0 final score.
Nikki Lockwood (2-0) and
Hope Smith combined on the shutout in goal. Texas Wesleyan held a 43-3 advantage in shots and 25-0 in shots on goal. Jamie Aguillen made 13 saves in the loss. Asadi,

The Lady Rams have a quick turnaround as they will travel to Kerrville, TX, on Sunday to take on Schreiner University. That game is scheduled for a 3:00 pm start.
