HOUSTON, TX:  The Texas Wesleyan University men's soccer team (2-3-1) suffered a 3-0 loss to UT-Brownsville (6-0) at the University of St. Thomas-Houston Tournament on Friday.
 
Oscar Valencia got the Ocelots on the board in the 30th minute.  Goals from Ricardo Diegues (54th minute) and Victor Parreiras (84th minute) capped the scoring at 3-0.

Arturo Sanchez (1-3-1) made five saves in the loss.  UTB's Axel Svenson stopped all three shots from the Rams.  For the game UTB outshot Texas Welseyan 8-3.
 
The Rams will return to action on Saturday, September 20, when they host Paul Quinn College.  That game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start at Martin Field.
