AUSTIN, TX: The Texas Wesleyan University women's soccer (2-1) game against Huston-Tillotson University (1-3) was postponed due to rain today.
 
If it was not the rain that kept the players off the field in the state capitol, it would have been the lightening.  Multiple cloud to ground strikes in the area led to a suspension of the start of the game, but the downpour that came after was heavy enough to deem the field unplayable.
 
The Lady Rams have tentatively rescheduled the match against the HTU Rams for Saturday, September 20 at Martin Field. Time is still to be determined.
