FORT WORTH, TX: The Texas Wesleyan University men's soccer team (9-7-1, 3-5-1 SAC) breezed to a 5-0 win against Bacone College (3-11, 0-9 SAC) on Senior Day at Martin Field Saturday afternoon.
Prior to the game, the Rams honored five seniors who were playing in their final regular season game at Martin Field.

Alex Ellis,
Brien Avalos, and
Denis Ushakov have helped the Rams to 40 wins and a winning percentage of .630 over the last four years.
Ushakov got Senior Day started right when he scored off an assist from
Alejandro Rey just 4:54 in. In the 17th minute Rey played a corner kick that found
Shaun Miltner for another strike. Before the Warriors could take a breath,
Preston Baker scored to push the score to 3-0 just 40 seconds later.
A second goal from Ushakov in the 43rd minute pushed the score to 4-0 at the half.
Ojuok Otieno capped the scoring at 5-0 in the 56th minute.
For the game, the Rams outshot the Warriors 32-19 including a 17-6 count in shots on goal.
Alexis Yanez (1-3) made six saves to notch his first collegiate win and his first collegiate shutout. Raul Camerena and Erick Medina combined to make 12 saves for the Warriors.
Saturday's win marked the end of the regular season for Texas Wesleyan. The Rams will be the 6th seed in the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament. They will play a quarterfinal contest at 3rd seeded Southwestern Christian College (13-5, 7-2 SAC) on Friday, November 6.

This game will be a rematch of last year's SAC Quarterfinal which ended in a 2-1 Texas Wesleyan victory. In that game, the Texas Wesleyan was tagged with an astounding 9 yellow cards, but goals in the 73rd and 75th minutes lifted the Rams to the win.
