SILOAM SPRINGS, AR: The Texas Wesleyan University men's soccer team (6-11-2) suffered a season-ending 2-0 loss in the quarterfinal round of the SAC Tournament at the hands of John Brown University (13-2-2) on Saturday.
The Texas Wesleyan defense was able to weather a 22-shot attack from John Brown and keep the game close. The Golden Eagles, who finished as the SAC regular season runner-up, got on the board when Kelvin Omondi found the net in the 39th minute.

Marko Jovanovic kept the margin 1-0 at halftime.
The Eagles poured it on in the second half with 13 shots, but Jovanovic made four more saves and kept the Eagles off the board until Ryan Williams scored in the 85th minute.
For the game, John Brown outshot the Rams 22-7. Texas Wesleyan took three corner kicks while the Eagles were awarded none. The Rams battled an unfavorable 13-5 foul count.
The loss ends Texas Wesleyan's season at 6-11-2 overall.
