FORT WORTH, TX: Thursday night marks the final opportunity for Ram fans to catch the Texas Wesleyan University men and women's basketball teams on their home floor. The Rams will be hosting Oklahoma City University in the Sid Richardson Center on what will by Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night as well as Senior Night.
A free BBQ Dinner for all Texas Wesleyan Faculty & Staff will be held in the SUB (located in the Brown Lupton Student Center) beginning at 5:00 and running to 6:30 p.m. The Lady Rams will tip-off against the Stars at 6:00 p.m. and the men's game will follow at 8:00 p.m.
Both games will be preceded by a special presentation for the team's senior players. The Lady Rams feature two seniors (Leila Jdilly-Ezzad and
Onyesonam Nolisa). The 7th ranked Rams will be honoring six seniors (
Sam Akano,
Henry Buckley,
Doug Compton,
Jerell Ellis,
Chris Gracela, and
Eric Stubbs).
Following Thursday's action, the Rams will play at Wayland Baptist on Saturday before making the short trip to Waxahachie, TX, for the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament March 2-5.
