FORT WORTH, TX: The Texas Wesleyan University Football team will make its first venture into Central State Football League play on Saturday when they host rival Southwestern Assemblies of God University on Parent & Family Weekend. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. at
Farrington Field.

If you didn't arrive early to Texas Wesleyan's home opener against Millsaps, then you missed out! Be sure to check out the Ram Zone pregame experience – presented by 92.1 Hank FM – from 12-2 p.m. in the east parking lot at Farrington Field. The Ram Zone features music, prizes, games, giveaways, and appearances by the Ram Band, Willie the Rams mascot, and the TXWES Cheer & Gold Line Dance teams.

Chik-fil-A and many others will be on hand.
The Parking lot opens at 10:30 a.m. and stadium gates open at 1 p.m. As always, parking is Free! Please remember that open flames and alcohol are prohibited at Farrington Field per FWISD rules. Fans may bring in water; however, coolers, backpacks and large bags are not allowed inside the stadium.

General admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children (age 4-12) and $5 or TXWES faculty and staff (with ID). TXWES students DO NOT need a ticket, just show your current student ID at the gate for free admission.

Ram Football
The Rams are coming off a 42-7 loss at NCAA Division II New Mexico Highlands University. A tough first half, saw the Rams trail 35-0 before the two teams exchanged touchdowns in the second half. With a 7-7 score in the second half, the Rams have not been outscored in the second half of their first three games.
Running back
Jermarcus Jones ran for a season-high 79 yards against the Cowboys as the Rams put up 104 yards on the ground.
Kane Hardin threw for 116 yards and a score. Texas Wesleyan's 271 yards of total offense against NMHU was also a season high.

The SAGU Lions
This game marks the Rams' first foray into CSFL play, and they will need to have their best game to keep up with a hot SAGU offense.
The Lions are 2-1 overall and 1-0 in CSFL play this season. They are coming off a 54-7 shellacking of Texas College last week. Quarterback C.J. Collins was named CSFL Offensive Player of the Week after lighting up the Steers for 443 yards and five TD's through the air. Collins, a 6'4" junior from Bosqueville, TX, was 18-of-31 on the day.
