A DAY OF FIRSTS

It was the first shutout in conference this season, and the first against a SAC opponent since last season's overtime victory against St. Gregory. It was the first time Texas Wesleyan has defeated Bacone since 2015 on the Rams' Senior Night and the first win in Muskogee since 2011.
WHAT'S NEXT
Texas Wesleyan will head to Plainview to take on the 11th-nationally ranked Wayland Baptist Pioneers in the first round of the SAC Tournament, the No. 1 vs. No. 8 matchup in the bracket. The Rams played Wayland extremely tough in their regular season meeting when the Pioneers held the No. 4 national ranking, but ultimately fell 3-0.
