After five of the first six games on the road, and back-to-back overtime contests, the Rams can rest easier with three of the final four games at home, starting with Homecoming vs. Texas College this Saturday at Farrington Field. The Steers were in town last season helping the Rams to their first win on the field since returning as a program, on a wet and rainy night. The Rams gashed the Steers 36-7 behind 135 yards and three touchdowns from Jermarcus Jones.

Texas College has been on the bad end of some blowouts in 2019, including a 76-21 loss to Ottawa-Arizona, a 40-18 loss to Wayland Baptist and a 34-8 loss to Oklahoma Panhandle State. The Steers have had the benefit of playing four of their first five at home but will finish with three of the last five on the road, including challenging trips to Langston and Arizona Christian to close out the season. With a victory Saturday, the Rams can match their win total from 2018 before meeting Langston and Arizona Christian, just before the Steers do.
