BETHANY, Okla. – Southwestern Christian University head women's basketball coach Mark Arthur announced today the cancelation of the basketball contest at Texas Wesleyan University scheduled for tomorrow due to precautions regarding COVID-19.
 
The cancelation comes on the heels of another would-be season opener slated against newly formed UNT – Dallas.
 
The team will now open the season on the road at Central Christian on Saturday, November 7. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
 
The cancelation does not affect the men's basketball game between the two institutions, however a mutual decision has been made to move the start time up from 8 p.m. to now 7 p.m. tomorrow from the Sid Richardson Center.
 
Under the new Sid Richardson Gym spectator protocols, only family and close friends on the pass lists from each team will be admitted into the game. Live coverage of the contest can be found at RamSports.net/live. Brendan and Wayne Snow will be on the call.
