CHICKASHA, Okla. — An overtime goal by USAO would prove to be the Rams undoing as the Texas Wesleyan Men's Soccer team fell 3-2 OT to the Drovers on Tuesday.

The Rams and Drovers were tied 2-2 at the end of regulation after goals from the Rams'
Oscar Odriozola and
Mario Herrera.

Play was intense entering the overtime period as both sides racked up multiple fouls. USAO fired their first shot of the period nearly two minutes in, but it was blocked by TXWES. In the 97
th minute, USAO took their 13
th corner kick of the match, lifting the ball to Gideon Bossman who headed it into the net for the game winner.

Bastian Blumenberg tallied a season high 8 saves off USAO's 11 shots on goal. Of the Rams' 13 total shots, only 3 were on target.

Odriozola scored the first goal of the match during the 8
th minute. The opportunity occurred after a save from Blumenberg who quickly delivered the ball to
James Kerr. Kerr dribbled up the length of the field and booted the ball on the cross, which deflected off a Drover. Odriozola took advantage to strike the ball through the back of the net for his third goal of the year.

The Rams other goal came from a successful penalty kick by Herrera in the 60
th minute. He broke a 1-1 tie by drilling the ball into the left side of the net for his fourth goal of the year.

The loss brings TXWES to 5-3-2 overall and 0-1-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference. Meanwhile, USAO is now 6-3-3 overall and 1-1-1 in the league.
