FORT WORTH, Texas — The Texas Wesleyan Men's Soccer team fell in a 2-1 match versus Central Christian College (Kan.) on Wednesday at Martin Field.
Robinson Mugisha scored a goal in the 51
st minute to tie the game at 1-1, but with nine minutes left in the game, the Tigers scored the tiebreaker.
Mateja Jovanovic assisted Mugisha's goal. TXWES had 5 saves between keepers
Bastian Blumenberg and
Sebastian Almaraz.
The loss brings the Rams to 2-9-2 overall and 0-6-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference while CCCK moves to 6-10-2 overall and 1-6-1 in the league.
The Rams will close out their regular season on the road beginning first at John Brown on March 27 and SAGU on March 30.
