WAXAHACHIE, Texas — Savanna Barron netted a hat-trick in the TXWES women's soccer team's 4-3 win at Southwestern Assemblies of God on Tuesday.
 
The forward from North Richland Hills, Texas scored the first three goals in the first half bringing her total to 10 goals this season. Two games ago, she hauled in four goals vs Central Christian College (Kan.).
 
Vanessa Soriano assisted with all three of Barron's goals.
 
SAGU scored two goals to get within one point, but in the 54^th minute, Kristen Carter found the back of the net assisted by Danica Kunschik.
 
The Lions would score only one more goal, not enough to best the Lady Rams as TXWES ends the regular season 6-3 overall and in the Sooner Athletic Conference.
 
Next, the Lady Rams will travel to Oklahoma City on April 1 to take on the Stars at 7 pm in the SAC Tournament Quarterfinals.
