FORT WORTH, Texas — The Texas Wesleyan Softball team swept Langston in their last regular season double header of the year, winning 5-2 and 3-1 on what was also Senior Day.

The softball program highlighted the careers of five seniors who have made valuable contributions to the team during their time at TXWES. Saeya Esparza, Ashton Davis, Cailee Hendrick, Brianna Gibbons and Rebecca Finley were recognized between games at the pitcher's circle where they gathered with their family and teammates in celebration of their accomplishments.

The day was capped off with a sweep of Langston where the Lady Rams out-hit the Tigers 14 to 10.

Brynna Foster led at the plate, batting 4-7 between both games, batting in 3 runs and crossing the plate 3 times herself. In game two, she doubled twice. Kylie Summers was quick on the basepaths, stealing three bags, two in game two.

Both games saw Lady Ram pitchers throw a complete 7 innings. Taylor Tubbs started the first game, allowing 5 hits, 1 earned run, and 2 walks while fanning five batters.
