OKLAHOMA CITY – The Sooner Athletic Conference awarded academic all-conference acclaim to 193 winter sports student-athletes with TXWES placing 21 on the list.
 
Academic all-SAC goes to student-athletes who achieve a 3.25 minimum grade-point average during the past two semesters and earn letters.
 
TXWES Men's Wrestling, which won the SAC title, hauled in a league-high 10 academic nods among men's wrestling.
 
The following winter student-athletes achieved a 4.0 GPA this past year:
David Bonds – Men's Wrestling
Garrett Mowles – Men's Wrestling
Alexus Brigham – Women's Basketball
Elizabeth Harris – Women's Wrestling
 
The spring sport student-athlete Academic All-SAC honors will be released this week.
