OKLAHOMA CITY – Texas Wesleyan hauled in the Sooner Athletic Conference offensive player of the week as well as special teams player of the week after another landmark performance.
The Rams' Clint Epperson, the offensive player of the week, and Anthony Bobb, the special teams player of the week, spearheaded Texas Wesleyan to its first 2-0 start in program history. The SAC honored Brandon Tomerlin from OUAZ after a career-best outing.
Offensive player of the week: Clint Epperson | RS Fr. | RB | Valley View, Texas
Clint Epperson fell 1 yard short of the Rams' single-game rushing record with 175 yards on 18 totes in a 49-20 win at Panhandle State on Saturday. Epperson sparked Texas Wesleyan by bolting for his longest run of the season on 61-yard touchdown run just two plays into the game at the 14:07 mark of the first quarter. He added a catch for 28 yards.

Defensive player of the week: Brandon Tomerlin | Sr. | LB | Superior, Ariz.
Brandon Tomerlin posted a career-high 13 tackles in OUAZ's 42-28 win at Southwestern Assemblies of God on Saturday. Tomerlin collected six solo stops and one tackle for loss in his second career game with 10-plus tackles for the Spirit, ranked 23rd in the NAIA.

Special teams player of the week: Anthony Bobb | RS Fr. | WR-PR | Houston
Anthony Bobb broke loose on an 89-yard punt return for a touchdown to make it a 35-14 game in the third quarter, providing a game-breaker for the Rams special teams unit Saturday in Goodwell, Okla.
