Box Score FORT WORTH-- The Texas Wesleyan women's basketball team (20-5, 13-5 SAC) defeated Oklahoma Panhandle State (6-16,4-15) 89-41 on senior day at the Sid Richardson Center.

Shanice Veasley were the five seniors honored on Saturday afternoon. These five seniors have 11 combined years of playing experience at Texas Wesleyan and have helped the Lady Rams basketball program to 60 wins, including 35 wins at home during that stretch and helped the team to an NAIA Scholar Team award.
TXWES dominated the game from start to finish. The Lady Rams outscored OPSU 25-6 in the first ten minutes of play. TXWES played stifling defense, holding OPSU to 27 percent shooting from the field for the game.Â
The Lady Rams shot 38 percent from the field and shot 8 of 24 from the three-point line (33 percent.) TXWES converted defense into offense, scoring 24 points off turnovers.Â
