HAWKINS TX-- The Texas Wesleyan baseball team (20-13) lost to Jarvis Christian College (8-27) 4-3 on Tuesday afternoon.

In the top of the sixth inning,
Joseph Barfield scored on a wild pitch to tie the game at 2. Kevin Santiago crossed the plate on a passed ball to give TXWES a 3-2 lead. JCC battled back in the closing innings to secure a 4-3 victory to end the Rams five game win streak.
Tomas Sanchez went 2 for 4 and
Joseph Barfield went 1 for 3 with 1 RBI.
Ian Landreneau pitched two innings, giving up no earned runs, three hits, and recording one strikeout.
Justin Ward pitched 4 innings, recording seven strikeouts, and giving up one earned run.
David Theriot pitched one inning and struck one batter out.Â
