CHICKASHA, OK-- The Texas Wesleyan Baseball team (33-17, 15-9 SAC) picked up an important series win on Saturday afternoon against Science and Arts University (32-12).
Garrett Moltzan pitched 4.0 innings, gave up one run and had no hits. David Theriot came in for relief and pitched 4 innings, allowing no runs and picking up his second win of the weekend. Morgan McCloud pitched one inning and did not give up any runs.
Jojo Barfield blasted a homerun ball to pick up three RBIs. Tomas Sanchez had one RBI and one hit. Ending the game with a score of 5-1. TXWES is hot at the right time, winning nine out of its last ten games.
The Rams will compete in the sooner athletic conference tournament this weekend.
