Baseball season has officially begun, and the Texas Wesleyan Rams started their season with a Saturday doubleheader vs. Huston-Tillotson. TXWES won game one 9-3 and game two 8-7.
In game one, the scoring started off in the second inning, courtesy of catcher Carson Cheany's RBI walk. The Rams of Huston-Tillotson would take the lead by scoring a run in each of the next two innings. In the bottom half of the fourth, left fielder
Greyson Barrett leads off the inning with a triple, and Kevin Santiago drives him in on a sacrifice fly to tie the game at two.
Fast forwarding to the bottom of the sixth inning, TXWES trails 3-2 and the Rams erupt for a seven-run inning, with RBIs courtesy of
Tomas Sanchez,
Jonathan Pena,

On the pitching side, RHP
