On Saturday, the Texas Wesleyan Rams faced off against No. 1 Mid-America Christian University (MACU) in a game that ended with a victory for MACU, with a final score of 4-1.

MACU asserted their strong play early in the game, with Jack Price scoring the opening goal at 17:33 minutes into the first half, assisted by Federico Palacios. However, the Rams quickly rallied when Luca Hoff found the net at 20:58 minutes, leveling the score at 1-1.

MACU reclaimed the lead with another goal by Jack Price at 26:47 minutes into the game. With Jack Price assisting, Pietro Musso extended their lead at the 30:16-minute mark. The first half concluded with Mid-America Christian a 3-1 lead.

In the second half, Kolby Godbolt sealed the victory for MACU by scoring their fourth goal at 43:50 minutes, assisted by Emanuele Grumo and Kareem Williams. TXWES tried to mount a comeback but could not breach Mid-America Christian's defense.

Statistically, Mid-America Christian dominated in shots, with 21 and 11 on goal, compared to Texas Wesleyan's seven with four on goal. The goalkeepers had a busy day, with Alex Heinle making seven saves for Texas Wesleyan and Claudio Fuentealba making three saves for Mid-America Christian. Mid-America Christian also had more corner kicks (8 to 0) and committed fewer fouls (10 to 16) than Texas Wesleyan.
