On Saturday, the Texas Wesleyan Rams faced off against No. 1 Mid-America Christian University (MACU) in a game that ended with a victory for MACU, with a final score of 4-1.

In the second half, Kolby Godbolt sealed the victory for MACU by scoring their fourth goal at 43:50 minutes, assisted by Emanuele Grumo and Kareem Williams. TXWES tried to mount a comeback but could not breach Mid-America Christian's defense.
Statistically, Mid-America Christian dominated in shots, with 21 and 11 on goal, compared to Texas Wesleyan's seven with four on goal. The goalkeepers had a busy day, with Alex Heinle making seven saves for Texas Wesleyan and Claudio Fuentealba making three saves for Mid-America Christian.
