SB: Lady Rams Drop Four Game Series

Fort Worth, TX- The Lady Rams softball team opened a four game series on Saturday against MACU in the final home appearance of the season. Texas Wesleyan would go on to drop all four games 6-3, 9-3, 7-4, and 11-0.
 
Day One
After an early scoring run from Kylie Summers , the Lady Rams battled against the visiting Evangels as they would take the early 6-1. Texas Wesleyan would attempt to make a comeback in the fourth inning led by a Brynna Foster homer and a Krysta White scoring run, but they fell short as the Lady Evangels would go on to win 6-3.
Much like the first game, the Lady Rams fell into an early deficit to MACU. Texas Wesleyan would fall short again on their comeback attempt as they lose game two 9-3. Izzy Valenzuela managed to send a homer to center field, while Kylie Summers and Alyssa Bates would each have scoring runs of their own.
 
 
Day Two
The Lady Rams would take the lead early with an Izzy Valenzuela homer and Devin Dunn scoring run in the third inning.  MACU would score a pair of runs down in the top of the seventh in to come away with a 7-4 extra-inning.Valenzuela would go on to score again, while Jaeley May also add a scoring run of her own in the game three loss. The second game of the day also went in favor of the visiting Evangels as they were able to cruise to an 11-0 victory in game four to complete the series sweep over the Lady Rams at Sycamore Park on Sunday.
