A net violation from the Stars would give the rams set point. The stars would go on to error again with a swing sending the ball out. That Costly mistake gave the Rams the 25-23 set win.

OCU Jumped out to an 11-7 lead over the Rams. The Stars would score four straight points that was capped off by a service ace forcing a Texas Wesleyan time out at 15-7. Texas Wesleyan would do their best to close out the game by going on an 8-3 run to cut the lead down to 13-18, but the Stars would take the set to avoid the sweep.
