Oklahoma City, OK - In a soccer showdown at Brian Harvey Field in Oklahoma City on Tuesday, the Texas Wesleyan Lady Rams fell to the Oklahoma City Lady Stars, with a final score of 6-2.  

The scoring spree kicked off at the 10:41 mark when Hallie Crom of Oklahoma City made her mark, finding the back of the net, thanks to a perfectly timed assist by Abby Russell. Texas Wesleyan didn't stay behind for long, responding at the 23:03 mark with a goal by Gracie Spradley, assisted by Cat Jasso.

However, Oklahoma City was relentless in their pursuit of victory. Ameila Horsford struck at the 38:30 mark, and Abby Russell added to the tally at 65:36, courtesy of a setup by Ashley Russell. The lead continued to grow when Reese Roberts scored at 70:39, thanks to a brilliant assist from Yessenia Ochoa-Lopez.

Texas Wesleyan mounted a valiant effort as Gracie Spradley scored her second goal of the match at 76:35, assisted by Maribel Vargas. But Oklahoma City remained overbearing, with Gisselle Estrada adding to the scoreline at 80:47, assisted by Yami Ponce. Ruby Nichols sealed the victory at 81:25, assisted by Ameila Horsford.

Team statistics clearly favored Oklahoma City, with 21 shots, including 12 on goal, while Texas Wesleyan managed 10 shots, with 4 on target. The goalkeepers also played a vital role, with Texas Wesleyan's goalie making six saves compared to Oklahoma City's two.

The home team commanded the corner kicks as well, with Oklahoma City taking four opportunities to Texas Wesleyan's two. In terms of fouls, Oklahoma City committed five, while Texas Wesleyan only had two infractions.

Following this loss, Lady Rams record dropped to 3-4-1 overall and 0-1-0 in conference play. The next game will be played Saturday at Martin Field against SAGU, with the match scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
