BETHANY, OK - Texas Wesleyan University (21-8, 17-4 SAC)clinched a 3-0 victory over Southwestern Christian University (5-21, 3-18 SAC) in their last regular season volleyball match.

The Rams took each set in close contests, winning 25-22, 25-23, and 26-24 in the match held at Pickens-Springer Gym.

The Rams' offense was led by standout Shelby Martin, who recorded 10 kills, followed by Hanna Rubis and Sydney Alexander, each adding seven. Emily Lewis was a force from the service line, tallying four aces, while Alexander led at the net with five blocks.

Ruby O'Brien facilitated the offense with 20 assists, complemented by Ruby Rumohr's 14. Defensively, America Galvan contributed 12 digs to keep SCU's attacks in check.

Texas Wesleyan displayed consistent performance across the sets, particularly in the third set with a .333 hitting percentage. Despite SCU's efforts, including 15 kills by Paige McGee, Texas Wesleyan's play and defensive edge helped secure the sweep.  

The Rams will next play November 12, in the Sid Richardson Center at 7 p.m. against the seventh-seed College of the Ozarks in the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament Quarterfinals
