FORT WORTH, TX - On Saturday, Texas Wesleyan University cruised to victory over Central Christian College (KS) with a 14-1 final.

From the very start, Texas Wesleyan asserted their dominance, scoring four runs in the opening inning. Ryan Flores set the tone with a double down the right field line, driving in the first run, followed by Hayden Hutchens' double to left-center, adding another run to the scoreboard.

Logan Silvertooth's hit by pitch and Angel Polanco's sacrifice fly further extended Texas Wesleyan's lead to 4-0.

The scoring continued throughout the game, with TXWES' offense consistently finding gaps and driving in runs, with the contributions included Flores' two-run double in the third inning and Aiden Kenney's three-run double in the fifth inning, which highlighted a five-run outburst for Texas Wesleyan.

The Rams' pitching staff held the Tigers to just one run, with starter Sutton Tidwell leading the charge. Tidwell showcased his dominance on the mound, allowing only one run and striking out eight batters over 6.2 innings of work.

CCCK struggled to generate offense against Tidwell and the TXWES pitching staff, managing only six hits throughout the game.

Central Christian's lone run came in the seventh inning, courtesy of Justin Ricketts' RBI single, Texas Wesleyan's lead remained insurmountable.  

With this win, Texas Wesleyan improved their season record to 20-14 and 9-6 in SAC play, while Central Christian fell to 7-27 and 1-14 in the conference.  

The Rams will next travel on the road to play against Jarvis Christian College on Tuesday with a 1 p.m. first pitch scheduled in Hawkins, TX.
