FORT WORTH, TX – The Texas Wesleyan softball team split games on Senior Day against Southwestern Christian University at Sycamore Park on Saturday afternoon.

Two seniors were honored in their last home game of the regular season. Marissa Reina and Krysta White both played an integral part to the softball in the last few seasons.

The Rams got the bats going in their final game of doubleheader as the Rams split the twin-bill, falling in the first game 6-3 before storming back to game two 6-0.

The first contest of the day would see SCU take the early 2-0 lead at the top of the 1st inning, while KK Moore would get the Rams on the board at the bottom of the 3rd inning by scoring a run. SCU would keep their momentum as they went on to score a pair of runs in the next inning. Kylie Barnes would score in bottom of the 4th inning to keep the Rams withing striking distance at 2-4. The Eagles would continue to put the pressure on Texas Wesleyan by sending a ball right out of the ballpark to go up 3-6 at the top of the 7th inning.
