OKLAHOMA CITY - Texas Wesleyan University (3-11-1, 0-8-0 SAC) displayed resilience in a 7-0 defeat to Mid-America Christian University (12-2-1, 7-0-1 SAC) on Tuesday, generating late scoring opportunities in a Sooner Athletic Conference women's soccer contest.
Mid-America Christian built a commanding lead with four first-half goals, highlighted by Brae Baker's hat trick at the 9:40, 29:47 and 32:15 marks. Caitlin Hirst contributed a goal and two assists, while Maria Scopino added two second-half tallies.
