OKLAHOMA CITY - The Sooner Athletic Conference has announced their All-Conference awards for the 2024-25 women's basketball season. Kameryn Phillips received recognition by being on the All-Conference Freshman team as well as 2nd-Team honors. Taryn Wills gains her second year of recognition in a row being named to the 3rd Team. Savanna Smith gets recognition as an honorable mention as well.

Megan Nestor of Wayland Baptist has been named the 2025 Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Year, as announced by the conference office Wednesday morning. The league's 13 head coaches voted on the award.

First-year head coach Chris Vincent of Langston earned the conference Coach of the Year award after leading the Lions to their first conference championship in since joining the SAC.

Mikayla Woods of Langston was named the Defensive Player of the Year, while Sarah Snodgrass of John Brown garnered the league's Freshman of the Year honor, with Diamond Richardson of Langston earning the Newcomer of the Year award. Langston's Jordynn Conner grabbed the Sixth Women of the Year honor, and Caelyn Ferguson of John Brown garnered the league's Sportsmanship Award.
