OKLAHOMA CITY – Texas Wesleyan University Women's Basketball has clinched a spot in the Athletic Solutions Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament as the eighth seed and will face off with number one seed Langston University in Oklahoma City on February 26 and 12pm.
The Rams and Lions split the season series so far this year with the road team winning both contests. Langston took the first game in Fort Worth, winning 61-52 on November 22. Almost three months later the Rams went into Langston and squeaked out a crucial 55-54 victory on February 19.
The Rams and Lions are the first game of the day, and the winner of the matchup will face the winner of the number four seeded College of the Ozarks and number five seeded University of Science and Arts on February 27 at 5:30pm. The other two games on the opening day will be number two seeded Mid-America Christian vs number seven seeded Wayland Baptist and number three seeded Nelson vs number six seeded John Brown.
