LANGSTON, Okla. — Texas Wesleyan (16-16, 10-9 SAC) secured a decisive 13-4 victory over Langston (6-11, 1-10 SAC) in the first game of their doubleheader on Friday, highlighted by a 10-run first inning at Langston's home field. The Rams collected 15 hits in the win, with five stolen bases complementing their offensive effort. In the second game, the Rams followed up with a 14-8 victory over the Lions, propelled by a nine-run third inning and a total of 21 hits.
In Game One, Texas Wesleyan set the tone early, exploding for 10 runs in the first inning.
Haylie Delarosa singled and scored the first run after
Rachet Houston's RBI single. Houston and
Kylie Barnes both advanced on errors, allowing
Payton Blanco's RBI single to bring in another run.
Ally Hinojosa's two-RBI single and
