FORT WORTH — Texas Wesleyan University (37-7, 22-5 SAC) secured a 6-4 victory over Wayland Baptist University (29-19, 13-14 SAC) on Friday at Sycamore Park. The Rams recorded nine hits, including a home run and two triples, to clinch the win.
Wayland Baptist took an early lead in the first inning with two runs, highlighted by RBI singles from Adonis Bernal and Rafaeleduardo Garcia. The Rams responded with a solo home run by
Brendon Vela, ending the inning with a 2-1 score in favor of the visitors.
