FORT WORTH -Texas Wesleyan fell to Southwestern, 0-11. Texas Wesleyan's defense managed two interceptions, showing resilience against Southwestern's offense. Southwestern secured its victory with a third-quarter touchdown and two safeties, ending the game defensively.

The first quarter began with Texas Wesleyan initiating a drive from its 14-yard line. Isabel Ibarra faced early challenges with a rush for a loss, but Destinee Hernandez connected with Ibarra for an 11-yard gain, advancing to the 24-yard line. The drive concluded without scoring, as Southwestern took possession after a series of plays stalled Texas Wesleyan's progress.

Southwestern capitalized on an interception by Aiyana Sims, returning it for a touchdown, marking a significant momentum shift. A subsequent safety contributed to Southwestern's early lead. As the quarter closed, Texas Wesleyan's defense held Southwestern to minimal gains, keeping the score at 2-0.
