OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla - Texas Wesleyan University Volleyball player Loes Peijnenburg has been recognized as the SAC Digital Scoreboards Defensive Player of the Week.

Peijnenburg was a wall defensively with 18 total blocks on the weekend, eight of which came against Our Lady of the Lake. She was the leader for the Rams defense this weekend against some of the toughest teams in the country and averaged 1.29 blocks per set. Peijnenburg was also a huge contributer offensively with 13 kills and four service aces in the Rams 2-2 weekend in the Texas Two Step.
