In the 2025 season, Freddy Joya played a crucial role for Texas Wesleyan, participating in 11 of the team's 12 games. As the primary kicker, Joya led the team in several categories, including field goals, extra point kicks, PAT kick attempts, and PAT kicks made. Over the course of the season, he attempted 19 field goals and successfully converted 16 of them, achieving a season-long field goal of 45 yards against Wayland Baptist on November 15.
