Prior To Wesleyan: Played one season at Texas Tech University under head coach Dan Spencer...made six appearances as an all relief pitcher...collected two strikeouts vs. BYU (02/24/11)...played one season at Midland Junior College for head coach David Coleman...saw action in 11 games.

High School: Played for coach Chad Koehl at Smithson Valley High School...three year letterwinner...earned All-District honors his last two seasons...competed in the prestigious Area Code Games in Long Beach, California with the Washington Nationals Scout team...prior to senior season was named a Perfect Game preseason high school honorable mention All-American.
