Prior To Wesleyan: Played for coach Bobby Cox at Oklahoma Baptist...went 2-2 with a 4.02 ERA in 22 appearances...recorded 59 strikeouts against 15 walks in 31.1 IP...prior to playing with Oklahoma Baptist, played for coach Todd Eastin at South Mountain Junior College.

High School: Played for coach Bob Young at Mingus Union High School...a first team All-State and first team All-Region selection...played in the All-Star game during his senior year...

Personal: Sean Simonz...born January 8th, 1989 in Riverside, California...son of Frank and Janice Simonz...has one sister, Megan...majoring in Exercise Science.
