2013: Played in 8 games and made 7 starts in goal as a junior...recorded 3 of the team's school record 8 shutouts...racked up 29 saves and a goals against average of 1.16...recorded shutouts in three of his last five games...notched eight saves in a 1-0 SAC win over John Brown (10/27/13) and was named SAC Defensive Player of the Week...followed that game with a save in a 1-0 shutout at Oklahoma City (10/29/13)...recorded a shutout in a 3-0 SAC Tournament win over Oklahoma City (11/8/13).

Prior To Wesleyan: Played one season under head coach Vincent Martinez at Incarnate Word University…prior to Incarnet Word he played for one year at Cisco Junior College.
 
High School: Played at John Jay High School in San Antonio, Texas under coach Pete Pruneda…a member of the Classics Elite Academy club soccer team.
 
Personal: Born Arturo Sanchez on January 14, 1991, in Coahuila, Mexico…son of Hector and Ana Sanchez…has three brothers, Hector, Luis, and Miguel, and one sister Magda…is majoring in business management.
