2014-15: Named team MVP and Honorable Mention All-SAC after ranking second on the team with 18.3 points per game...shot .490 from the field, .369 from 3-point range, and .740 at the free throw line...played in 29 games and made 12 starts...scored in double-figures 27 times...scored 20+ points 10 times...scored a season-high 33 points in back-to-back games against St. Gregory's (1/17) and Arlington Baptist (1/19).

Prior to Wesleyan: Played his sophomore season at North Lake College under head coach tim McGraw...named All-Region while helping the Blazers to a 28-25 record including a 21-9 mark in conference play...team's leading scorer at 15.2 points per game, while pulling down 4.4 rebounds and dishing out 2.4 assists per game...played freshman season at Our Lady of the Lake University under head coach Russel Vanlandingham...played in six games, scoring 12 points for the Saints.

High School: Played for coach Jim Weaver at Earl Warren High School...named All-District as a junior and senior...helped EWHS to the State semifinals as a senior.

Personal: Born Jerrell Ellis on August 8, 1994, in Sedalia, MO...son of James and Greta Ellis...has one brother, Jared...is majoring in exercise science.
