Prior to Wesleyan: Played one season for head coach Jim Gilligan at Lamar University compiling a 1-2 record with a 5.84 ERA in 9 games in 2014...played two seasons at Lamar Junior College...appeared in 19 games as a sophomore, recording a 4-2 record with a save...Saw 50.1 innings of work, putting up a 3.04 earned run average with 34 strikeouts...also made 19 appearances as a freshman, going 3-1 with a 2.63 ERA over 27.1 innings.

High School: A 1st-team All-District selection at Pope John XXIII.

Personal: Born Zachary Robert Aitken on Feb. 15, 1993, in Houston, TX...son of Robert and Lana Aitken...has one sister, Tori...is majoring in criminal justice.
