Prior to Wesleyan: Attended Cedar Valley College but did not play football.

High School: Played for coach Joey McGuire at Cedar Hill High School, helping the team to a State Championship (5A) in 2006...State Powerlifter in 2008 and Regional Powerlifting Champion in 2007.
