2015: Played in 27 games and made 17 starts as a freshman...as a pitcher, appeared in 23 games including 12 starts and posted a record of 4-8 with a 3.78 ERA...struck out 54 batters in 89 innings...had one save...earned the win in her collegiate debut allowing an unearned run in a complete-game five inning shutout against McPherson (2/13)...struck out a season-high 6 against SAGU while picking up an SAC win (3/25)...singled in her second collegiate at-bat vs. Clarke (2/22)...went 2-for-5 with 3 RBI in a doubleheader with Southwestern Christian (4/22).

High School: A two-time Academic All-District selection for coach Guyla Smith at West High School...helped WHS to UIL State Finals appearances as a freshman and sophomore...named Academic All-State and Texas Sports Writers Association 3A Honorable Metion All-State as a senior.

Personal: Born Lauren Wernet in West, TX...daughter of Aaron and Sara Wernet...has one sister, Julia...is majoring in athletic training.
