2010: Played in 32 games, including 29 starts for the RRAC Champion Lady Rams...hit .294 with 6 2B's and 11 RBI in 85 AB's...has six multi-hit games...hit .800 (8-for-10) including an 8-for-8 stretch with 5 RBI and 7 R's during a four-game hitting streak (3/29-3/31).

2009: Played in 47 games, while making 47 starts for the Lady Rams...received the team’s 3-D Award...hit .526 (10-for-19) during a season-long seven-game hitting streak...went 3-for-3 with an RBI and three runs scored during a RRAC tournament win over Langston (5/1).

2008: Played in 37 games, including 32 starts as a freshman...hit .301 with 12 RBI in 93 at bats...hit .450 (9-for-20) during a season-long five-game hitting streak in late April...went 4-for-5 with 3 RBI, 4 R's, and 2 2B's in a win over Langston University (4/24-2).

High School: Named Honorable Mention and All-District and Academic All-District in her junior and senior seasons...played for coaches Keith King and John Austin with the Texas Storm of Mansfield.

Personal: Born Tara Merae Martinez on Dec. 6, 1988, in Colorado Springs, CO...daughter of Cecil and Dianna Martinez...has one brother, Cecil III...is majoring in business management.
