Biography

Prior to Wesleyan: Played two seasons for head coach Nathan Blackwood at Lubbock Christian University...played in 66 games, batting .333 with 34 runs scored in two seasons...helped the Chaps to a 52-8 record and an NAIA National Championship in his freshman year...helped the Chaps to a record of 46-16 as a sophomore.

High School: Was a team captain for coach Chris Burrow at Sachse High School.

Personal: Born Christian Soberanes on Aug. 25, 1989, in Dallas, TX...son of Esteban and Veronica Soberanes...has two brothers, Michael and Jonathan...is majoring in marketing.
