Prior to Wesleyan: Played two seasons for head coach Darren Clark at Paris Junior College...hit .243 with 9 2Bs, 2 3Bs, 2 HRs, and 21 RBI as a freshman...hit .200 with 7 2Bs, 1 3B, 2 HRs, and 12 RBI as a sophomore.

High School: Played for coach Paul Kino at Arlington Lamar High School.

Personal: Born Taylor Jockers on Nov. 1, 1989, in Duncanville, TX...son of Wayne and Lois Jockers...has one brother, Kade, and two sisters, Blayne and Darrah.
