2010: Went 5-2 with a save and a 4.92 ERA in his first year with the Rams...appeared in 23 games, including five starts...struck out 58 batters in 56.2 IP...named RRAC Pitcher of the Week after allowing one hit and striking out eight in two outings (5.2 IP) (2/9)...posted a 0.43 ERA while striking out 26 during a six-game stretch (20.2 IP) (4/6-5/2)...struckout a season-high nine while picking up an RRAC Tournament win with seven shutout innings against Wiley (5/2).

High School: A four-year letter winner for coach Ronnie Dent at Bullard High School...named 2nd-team All-District as a utility player in his junior season and 1st-team All-District as a pitcher in his senior year.

Personal: Born Drew Mark Cavender on May 10, 1988, in Tyler, TX...son of Joe and Nancy Cavender...has three siblings, Whitney, Morgan, and McClain...is majoring in mass communications.
