2010: Played in 39 games and scored 26 runs...hit his first collegiate home run in a 19-1 win against SAGU (4/23-2)...scored four runs in five RRAC tournament games.

2009: Hit .294 and scored 22 runs in 31 games played...went 1-for-3 with 2 RBI against College of Santa Fe (2/15)...went 2-for-3 with a 3B and two R’s against Rogers State (4/6)...scored three runs in an RRAC Tournament win over Texas College (5/1).

2008: Redshirt.

High School: A four-year letterman for coach Mike Edwards at Willis High School...named All-District as a catcher in his sophomore season and All-District and All-County as an outfielder in his junior campaign.

Personal: Born Matthew Taylor on Aug. 19, 1988, in Wallnutcreek, CA...son of Terry and Gwen Reed...has two brothers, Mitchell and Ryan, and two sisters, Emily and Autumn...is majoring in political science.
