Prior to Wesleyan: Was a Presidential Scholar and MAC JC Student-Athlete of the Year for Steven Miller at Coahoma Community College.

High School: Was an honor student inducted into the National Technical Honors Society, while being named 4A Defensive Player of the Year under Gregory Redd at Gentry HS.

Personal:  Born Marquavius Hollins on November 21...son of Maxine Rucker...has five siblings, Alvin, Omarion, Miracle, DJ and Dakarius.
